Gender Role in the Society as Reflected by the Media. Men have the capacity to exert a form of power over women. Just as the lyrics of the song reveal, men have the capacity to ‘domesticate’ women. This only places men in the society at a higher rank of power in the social order compared to women. Moreover, the song insinuates that only a man can save a woman from the wrath of another man. The song targets the younger generation as is salient from the language used in the song. Moreover, the song reveals certain features that are contrary to the traditional views of gender roles when it highlights that the girl wants the sexual involvement.In summary, the behavior of males and females within the society is essential and worth much concern. The media are the primary element used when portraying cultural behaviors of the existing gender.

Much content as exposed through the media is crucial due to a range of reasons. First, the media helps discloses assorted steps taken to empower different beings. This is evident through when Thicke aims at showing women’s empowerment through their way of dancing to attract the males. People in the society should forecast on the best way to enhance individual integrity in the society (Paniotte 1).Conclusively, gender responsibility is vital when desiring to develop the society as it (masculinity and femininity) forms the basis of advanced individual relations (Paniotte 1). An improvement in the interaction rate portrays a community ready to progress by uniting individuals of different sexual category. People ought to make amends to others and men need to obtain more knowledge pertaining to the respect accorded to women. On the other hand, women need to know their feasibility in the society and should look forward to obtain skills that render them important beings in the society. It is vital to be assertive in the decisions individuals make that others may show respect, which helps impede violation of one’s rights in the society.In conclusion, it is worth noting that the media have an effect on gender role, as it helps mold individual behavior by viewing various performances. The choice of music and dancing styles affects individual insight towards the opposite category of gender. Therefore, writers and other individuals carrying interested in establishing equity in the society have to adopt the best media. All individuals are equal and are capable of performing tasks.
