Of knowledge between the West and the East in order to enhance the quality of education in the city state which in turn helps in the provision of better quality local labor supply (Olds, 2007). Fr example, te small size of the country particularly makes it easier to for the government to mobilize its strategic resources its objectives that would otherwise be difficult to achieve in larger countries across the world. Sme of the successful objectives related to bridging the knowledge between the West and the East, tat have largely successful in Singapore due to the country’s relative small size include effective provision of basic educational infrastructure such as linking sites of higher education with mass transit systems, efective legal educational frameworks including intellectual property rights among others.

I UW-Madison were to set up a branch in the City State of Singapore, tere are a number of elements of Badger culture that could easily be transported and mimicked in Singapore. Gnerally, i popular culture, Bdger culture refers to the myriad aspects of individual lives in the country including academic freedom, dgree pathways, tam sports and other academic choices.

I my opinion, te aspects of badger culture that can easily be mimicked include the attractive formal and tangible aspects of the culture such as academic choices team sports and academic freedom as opposed to the intangible or informal aspects of the badger culture such as the social activities, o school spirit among others. Tis is particularly because the undergraduate students in Singapore are likely to be more attracted to tangible culture rather than the informal aspects of culture they are in their home country.

O the other hand, te aspects of badger culture that can easily be modified in a hybrid way in the event that UW-Madison were to set up a branch in the City State of Singapore may include both the tangible as well as the intangible aspects of the aspects of individual lives in the country. Fr example, bth the informal aspects of the culture such as school spirit and the tangible aspects of their lives such as sports team or academic freedom will modified in a hybrid way to help merge the two divergent cultures.
