A seen, i is quite challenging to define and differentiate between erotica, oscenity, ad pornography. Terefore, wat is considered pornography today might not be considered pornography in the coming years. Athough the distinguishing between erotica, prnography, ad obscenity is quite difficult, dfferent authors have attempted to distinguish between these terms. Krri-Ann, Vges, Boxsome, ad Pope note that erotica can be used to refer to those materials that arouse the sexual feelings of individual.

Hwever, tese materials serve this purpose in a way that does not exhibit any sexist connotations, o sexual violence. Te sexual acts involved in erotica are mutually consenting and pleasurable. O the other hand, oscenity might mean a kind of an offense, were the acceptable standards of sexual morality and decency are defied. Te definition of obscenity might also vary from community to community, a this is influenced by the culture and social values of a group.
