The Two Revelations. The biblical interpretation should never blind Christians from acknowledging reality (Abbot 32). In this respect, the truths of nature are not covered in the Bible though they are the reality. This is reasonably explained since nature is supposed to give each individual greater understanding of the teachings of the Bible. Besides the truths manifest themselves eventually, for a example, when Galileo discovered that the Earth revolves around the Sun, he was made to recant. Consequentially, this and other scientific truths brought to light were accepted but given Biblical perspective to their understanding. At the heart of the argument is the second revelation and the most conflicting one: the beginning of life and how it has developed.

The contradiction is clear, the Bible shows God using his hands to create a being while the theory of evolution explains a long period of the development of human beings. The argument brings into perspective that none can be claimed to be inferior to the othe,r since factual evidence and occurrence prove the validity of both ideas. Therefore, the only intelligent and conclusive resolution is that there is an unsorted after possibility that there is a connection between the two explanations. The supporters of evolution and those of Christianity work for the same purpose. Beecher argues that the idea of human life has always been based on development. Christianity seeks to develop man from his simplicity and ignorance to a superior being (spirit). There are those who identify the truth live by it and eventually are rewarded to share in the glory of God. In the same capacity, evolution explains man in the same context as an animal who develops from the simplicity of life to have a superior mind and life (Beecher 18). This is the reason for the apparent existence of contradictions. However, both ideas seek understanding of the truth of life and should therefore be identified in the same spirit. The Bible will always be invaluable even though the human mind develops science to the wildest of imaginations. The truth is never complete, satisfactory or understood without adherence to its compatibility to life situations. This comprehensive fact concludes the whole argument. Beecher does not want the purpose of this deep insight to be diverted but he is subjective in purpose. Therefore, the evolutionists and people of varied age, class, denominations and beliefs are.
