The relevance of this is that most young boys and teenagers have little respect for their destiny or their elders. Smba will need something to make his become a better man in the end and to accept his place in the circle of life and in his pride. Te situation that will turn Simbas life around is his uncle Scar. Sar is the nemesis in the story and he knows that if he kills Simba, h will be the next one to have the throne. H engages hyenas him.

Te only challenge is that no matter what he does, h cannot kill Simba because it is Simbas destiny to be king, nt Scars. I Scar were to become king, h would not be in balance. Smba eventually understands that Scar is trying to kill him and in the process he finds the reason to step up to learn to become king: Sar kills his father in the process. Oe of the major things that anyone needs to survive is water. I they are denied water they will the movie, wter is a major symbol of life.

Tere are several times when no water comes into play. Smba is lured to the elephant graveyard where there is no water. Te hyenas nearly kill him there. H goes to a gorge where Scar has set it up for him to go. H figured that sending Simba to the gorge with no water would kill him slowly; istead of killing him, h is almost run over by a stampede. Te issue here is that water is part of circle life and since Simba is a part of it, h is able to "manifest" those things that he needs to stay out of the way of death.

Wter also flows, ebs, ad changes. I this aspect it could symbolize Simbas change and water is everywhere in the movie. I fact, te watering hole has a large amount of water and Timon and Simbaa live in a plush forest of trees. Wter again, wth the ebb and flow is symbolic of the circle of life again because it through everything.

before Mufasa dies, h is laying under a tree branch. A this point, Smba cannot get to him and now the tie between son and father is severed. Nw Simba is virtually on his own because Mufasa cannot help him. Aain, te audience is brought back to the major theme of the circle of life in that the natural course of life is for a father to help his son develop. S many times in life, ason is left without a father and then has to decisions about their and what they are supposed to do.

Athough Rafiki and Zazu are available to help, is not the same as a father. Oce Mufasa dies, h...
