Use ha been rampant especially in the athletics for men and women; i sports like Bodybuilding the use of steroids has become more accepted to enhance muscle growth and strength. I the early years, oher sports such as weight lifting as well as power lifters also encouraged the use steroids, hwever, te use steroids began rising in most colleges in sports like American Football and also among non-athlete college students. Tis seen the use of steroids going to level of lower grades in high school up to the Seventh 1988, te Anti- Drug Act initiated a ban on the use of steroids on some common games in the United States of America such as the Major League Football which almost led to the decline of such games due to poor performance of most players.

Wth the return of prominent players such as Sammy Sosa and Mark McGwire who were ascribed to the use of steroids the number of Baseball fans increased including the number of television audience. Tis also led to generation of trillions of dollars as well the increased popularity of the game despite the decreasing political reputation and the image of the country around 1989 the National Football League in the United States had concerns with the use of anabolic steroids arising from the belief the American Football players had concerning steroids.

Te American Football players are associated with lots of physical injury and a lot of energy required to provide an entertaining performance in the game. Te players believe that the use of steroids is the only way the can cope up with the of the game (Information, eucation, rsearch and support)The use of steroids in 1990 by most American Football Players was believed to be perpetuated by the National Football League Commission which did not formulate rules and regulations geared towards controlling the use of anabolic steroids among players.

I 1991, te use of anabolic steroids became more in World Wide Entertainment (WWE) which is a wrestling sporting activity.
