When qualitative research is applied in such topics, it draws a wide range of facets that depict a picture of wholeness in terms of group(s), person (s) or settings of the situation. The method can explore and clarify the questions of what, when, how, where, and therefore give an explicit description of dynamics of society, places, events and interactions (McRoy, n. The main objective of qualitative research is to identify and give an explanation on patterns and topic in dealings and therefore focuses on how the result will communicate to to the audience both in terms of emotions and in knowledge. Although, quantitative style of research may be appropriate at appraising hypothesis and evaluating whether it holds or not, a qualitative research is insightful at providing academicians with the real picture of the issues within the study.Another significant advantage of qualitative research is the ability to exhibit flexibility and the potential to adhere to a variety of areas of social science topics. Consider for instance a researcher gathering data through a one-on-one interview, if the researcher feels that the interviewee’s responses indicate gaps for additional questions, he can quickly add new relevant queries to the questionnaire (Tewksbury, 2009). Therefore, by adjusting the questionnaire and developing new questions on the spot, the qualitative researcher has an advantage of gaining more in-depth knowledge of the respondents side of story, attitudes, or situation regarding the case under study.
