Mny of these experiences may not be positive. Ngative experiences always develop stress. I is necessary for the mind to settle the negative thoughts for the maintenance of good psychological health. Seeping is the medicine which settles all the thoughts and brings back the person in the normal state. I should be noted that our conscious mind is working when are active and unconscious mind is working at the time of sleeping.

Mny of the thoughts stored in the unconscious mind may come out in the form of dreams while we sleep. I the case of people who are facing problems in life, ngative experiences may come out from unconscious mind during sleeping. Sch people cannot sleep properly and they may fail to settle their negative thoughts. Tus psychological problems may develop as a result of sleep problems. Rsearchers have evidence that in a certain proportion of sufferers insomnia an antidepressant effect.

Eidence has long existed that extended wakefulness improves the functioning of the serotonin neurotransmitter system, oe of the brain-chemical systems that goes awry in depression. I may also beef up the release of dopamine, aother neurotransmitter linked to depression (Marano). Anormalities in brain chemicals can develop sleep problems. Fr example, srotonin is a chemical necessary for keeping the brain systems normal. Te major function of Serotonin is to control the thinking process. Dficiencies of serotonin may force a person for abnormal thinking. Srotonin has the ability control the dopamine levels in our body.

I should be noted that excess of dopamine production may lead towards depression. Seeplessness or insomnia is a defense mechanism to control the dopamine production in brain. “ormonal influences, nurotransmitter and genetic abnormalities or brain differences all need to be thoroughly researched and eliminated before the psychological basis of insomnia can be supported”(Wedding).
