The UN and World Bank have collaborated with the respective governments in the affected regions such as Sub Saharan Africa, funding sustainable agricultural projects in order to empower the society. The aim of such project intends to improve individual visibility in contributing to the national growth. Social theorists and other activists believe that such initiatives are bold because they give both immediate and sustainable solution to this challenge. In the past, UN and other NGOs bodies working with various governments, as the mainstreams body, gave food to the affected regions. Although the provision of food to the affected ameliorated the conditions, the problem persisted. Presently, programs such as women empowerment through agriculture, a building of water holes among other projects have enabled the affected communities to sustain their lives in future (United Nations 9). Education is the vital component of social, political, and economic development. Countries boosting of political stability, economic prowess, or social growth peg their success on policies that have promoted the acquisition of education. Historically, a growth of powerful nations such as the United States stems from its policies that promoted education.
