Thus, couples can come to learn about these cultures’ attributes later after marriage.Ban on international marriage is necessary given the severity of conflicts resulting due to religious differences. Religion has the potential of making couples have varied views on theology, ethics, view of the world, and traditions of the family (Piper 322). These have the capacity of influencing most of the decisions, priorities, wants, and needs of the couples. Inter-faith conflicts seem not to be serious when couples are dating and in the early years of the marriage.

However, they tend to escalate later in the marriage and can be so severe that they may result in divorce. If a couple holds tight to their beliefs due to religion, they will have a different lifestyle even in marriage. These will result in conflict when the couples decide their personal affairs or the affairs of their children. Conflicts may come up since in international marriages, each couple views their beliefs to be important to them and want to uphold them in the course of deciding their personal affairs. On the other hand, these conflicts are not present when the couples are from the same country and share the same religion. Thus, in international marriages, decisions for couple’s personal values are derailed by religious differences. Therefore, these unions should be banned to reduce these conflicts. Finally, politics can present severe conflicts to couples in an international marriage. Different nations have their particular political environments and beliefs. International marriage offers chances for the occurrence of political disputes between couples since they came from varied political backgrounds. In the event that couples come from different countries, political conflicts have the capacity of escalating after marriage since each couple will tend to hold to the political principles of their background.
