According to Blackbrun, Pllock and Fowler (2012), pisoner subculture refers to the inmate code which is the set code of behavior among inmates, o special languages or values and prisoner roles. Fom this description, te subculture of prisoners shows that it is usually associated with negative use of words such as “sissys” and “punks” (Blackbrun, Pllock and Fowler, 2012).
