Lnguage is the best form of communication that is used. Aquisition of language is not just a matter of learning the words, gammar, ad sounds of language. Trough language acquisition, kds will, terefore, aquire a system that will facilitate them to communicate with other people (Fromkin, Rdman, ad Hyams, 2013, p The basic desire of people to get in touch with others, wich is communicating, i apportion of the foundation of acquiring language. A imperative social-cognitive capability that adds to the communicative interaction as well the development of language is the ability of joint attention.

Dring the process of first language acquisition children of about ten months can engage other people and their parents actively while they at the same time focus on a thing of interest (Clark, 2009). Fcilitating language acquisition means facilitating communication. Een though all normal children acquire language, tere is a great difference in the rate of language acquisition. Te children who acquire language very fast facilitate them to communicate with other people more than the children who acquire at slower rate (Clark, 2009).

I is important to note that the rate of language acquisition is fast in individuals experiencing more one-to-one conversations with their parents or people training them in the case of second language acquisition. Terefore, te environment that is most supportive in acquisition of a language is the one with more verbal engagement with their parents or in people learning a language with their teachers. Mre engagement will also improve their language quality. I will in turn facilitate communication. Smetimes second language acquisition limits communication of I is evident, fr example, wen people go to a new place or outside country.
