Furthermore, yung drivers who drink are most likely to be at a state where they experiment with drugs and alcohol and most probably go on a binge before getting behind the wheel (Organization of Economic Co-Operation & Development, 2010, 82). Overall, i all research conducted it is obvious that drivers who use their phones are likely to bring a calamity than those who have no forms of distractions while driving. Frthermore, sudies conducted over the years show that teens that drink and drive probably have parents who also engage the act or do so as a result of peer pressure (Gusfield, 2008, 89).

T obtain sufficient results, qestionnaires were handed out to ten students at the institution and ten members of the staff. The questionnaires contained a number of multiple choice questions and an open-ended question in the end in order for the participants to explain their answers further where need be. Te reason for choosing closed ended questions was the fact that it makes analyzing the data fairly easier and in the shortest time possible. This could attributed to the uniformity as the participants are given choices to pick from.

Te reason for handing the questionnaires to both students and the staff for the research is the fact that most research carried out over the past years never take into consideration the role that age plays in issues such driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol (Wanberg, Mlkman &Timken, 2005, 113). Frstly, te results showed that students were more likely to drive when drunk as compared to the adults. Tis could be associated with the the responsibilities that the older drivers have do not allow them to drink as much as.

Oher reasons could be the fact that young drivers are likely to overestimate their driving capability even when high on alcohol or other drugs, tey want to believe themselves to be invincible. Te other explanation as to why young people are more likely drunken drive is the excitement coming with taking such a risk (Taylor & Oberman, 2006, 85). Scondly, te results showed that men are more likely to drink and drive as to women.

Te attributing factor could be that women do not drink as much as men although over the years show that more and more women have started drinking. Fnally, te last question addressed to the participants was to describe how they feel about other drivers drinking and driving....
