This is job searching site that enables one to browse their preferred jobs by company, location or even by categories and industries. This site additionally has an online radio that provides an expert advice on jobs across Canada. This radio ensures their target audience is helped to find the jobs they desire. Further, it provides articles on certain important issues like resume writing, career planning and job hunting techniques among others for their target group. Other tips provided in the site apart from just job opportunities include information on why people get fired, dress cord do’s and don’ts. The site has other links on social networks like Facebook, twitter, career fair, Google plus, Pintrest and you tube.

Linked in on the other hand is a social networking site that is basically business oriented. As of June 2014, the site had reached 350 million users. Additionally, it is available in 20 different languages for people of different ethnic backgrounds. The feature of linked in that is of interest is that it can provide an individual with connection to anyone they would invite. These connections can be useful in the following ways: they can provide one with introductions to connections of their connections; recommendations and endorsements that increases one’s ability to get a job; an individual can find business opportunity; employers can also find potential candidates from the site; users can bookmark jobs they intend to apply; users can post photos and view other users photos thus aiding identification; they can see those who viewed their profiles; users can also follow various companies and get updates on job openings they have. However, linked in endorsement of skills as a feature has been criticized for the people who do such endorsements may not be accurate. Third is career builder which is available at http://careerbuilder. has approximately 4 million visitors in Canada each year. This site has the following features: it enables a job seeker to search job opening through use of key words and city.
