The study of power in politics can be analyzed using different perspectives. Application of power requires no coercion or force to have it implemented. It is based on the influence a person or group of people influence the behavior of others. According to Hoffman (2015), power as an expression used to define structure owing to the complex strategic scenarios considering a social setting. Notably, in the society there tend to be people who exhibit more power compared to others. This may be because of the influence hence portraying palpable facts in understanding human existence. The concept of power can be studied following the social theories and the assertions made by the first scholars who viewed power as a social perspective, for example, Aristotle, Plato, and Hobbes devotion to analyzing power and the associated phenomenon. However, the current civilized society has embedded the concept of power with diverse synonyms in seeing how power is controlled, transferred and transformed (Laszlo, 1963).
