Also, music makes me feel happy, and even if I’m in a bad mood, music can easily change that. Finally, music means everything to me both happiness and sadness.Music definitely has a soothing effect on the human. We are living in a world of noises coming from all the corners. All these noises are intolerable to us because of its varying frequencies and unstructured patterns. During the entire period of our life, day/night, we forced to hear wanted and unwanted noises. We are accustomed to such a noisy life standards. But when we hear a rhythmic music, structured in a particular manner, it will stand out from other noises and will make us feel lot comfortable.Music has no languages at all. For example, Beethoven and Mozart are great musicians who attract people all over the world. It is possible for an Indian to enjoy western music and a European or African to enjoy the Indian classical music. Language is not a barrier to enjoying music. Music conveys its message through the lyrics, tune, and rhythm. “Music has the power to cause emotions to well up within us. These feelings are gripping - often irresistible - and seem to emerge from nowhere. These feelings color our moods, affect our perceptions and generate a behavioral pattern” (Ramnath). I like to hear different types of music. In fact, I like the slow numbers of Indian classical music very much. Whenever I feel stress, I rely on these slow numbers to calm down my mind. It worked very well for me. I strongly believe that some types of music can cause physical and mental changes. “After a stressful workday, classical music, certain types of jazz, or our favorite ballad singer can physically relax our bodies and distract our minds from the cares of the day - at least for a while. On the other hand, loud, fast music with a strong beat can exhilarate (or bother) us” (The Power of Music)Music is a powerful medium which attracts people all over the world. Music has no language. It can calm down a stressful mind if used properly.
