Sabah changes her regular style into more casual one, tking from Stephan the features of Western spirit. Hr clothes become opener as well as her character. Sephan and Sabah felt in love with each other. Te thing is that this love greatly contradicts with the religious customs of her family. Sbah faces the choice between her family and the beloved person. Tis choice is quite typical for Muslim women, bcause they are born with restricted rights, wich greatly different from the Western opportunities of women to choose their build their fate in the way they want it.

Sbah’s brother represents the culminate image of the story. Bing a dictator with difficult character, h puts Sabah under the question of choice between Stephan and her family. Dfinitely, te main heroine chooses love. Te film is full of customs and religious contradictions between two cultures. Laving her family, Sbah leaves her religion as well. Se changed her style of clothing, ues red lipstick and does not cover her head any more. Sbah becomes completely involved in relationships with Stephan the modern rhythm of his life.

A the end, te conflict is settled and represents the picture of a big and happy family. Hwever, te film contains a lot of funny moments. Fr example, wen Sabah’s niece tries to avoid marriage. Tese moments make the love story not as tragic as it seems at first sight. Te film covers many religious themes. Frst of all, i represents the restricted position of women in the society. Te tradition of pre-arranged marriage made thousands of Western women feel sympathy for female Te film shows the great domination of men under women.

Te rights of Muslim men in terms of religion and society are not so restricted. Tey can do everything they want. Tey hold business, gt married, tavel, coose their own style of life, wile women always exist in the dependant position, ether from the decision of their family, o their husbands. Mst of their time, Mslim women do things, wich they did not choose to do. Loking at the relationships between Sabah and Stephan most of Muslims be disappointed.
