Risky Driving Behaviors by Teenagers: Circuit Racing. The partakers were allowed to bring their own vehicles. Two automobiles, lined up side by side on an arrow-straight strip of asphalt accelerate away to the finish mark a quarter of a mile away when the sport starts (Sarkar and Andreas 687-700).The main aim of this activity is to reach the finish line very fast or finish at the time stipulated. It was especially interesting watching the cars racing. Watching the pale white billowing smoke making the car virtually disappear was the best part. The more smoke there is, the greater the excitement. The chief purpose of the burn out is to warm up the tires to the point that they stick to the pavement giving the car unbelievable traction. After the burn out, the car comes up to the start-up line, and waits for the green light to takeoff.

Adrenaline and the excitement kicks off at this point (Sarkar and Andreas 687-700.There is plenty of excitement and fascination that comes with watching drag racing, but like all other motor sports, the incredible world of drag racing has its dangers and risks. There is no approved drag racing is safer than street racing, but as long as the racer is in a fast moving car, it is not completely safe. For this reason, I would rather remain a spectator than take part in a real action. Drag racing has innumerable obstacles to overcome, and these types of obstacles are as diverse as their solutions. It is common to see race drivers pull stunts like bumper dragging and spark flying half way through the track to please the fans. A good number of mishaps happened at the Friday Fun Night when drivers failed to control their cars during a wheelie. I would recommend that all parts of the car, bumper, and rear stay down throughout the race to minimize the numbers of accidents and mishaps that result from stunts.Drag racing is gaining more popularity among young adults with movies like the First and Furious giving people more ideas (Sarkar and Andreas 687-700. The same cannot be said about adults, as the idea of drag racing is unattractive to most of them. The crossroads drag way can get a bigger crowd at the drag strip and increase the popularity of the sport by hosting annual drag strip events and hosting a fleet of show cars that traverse the county.
