Aliterature circle is a process wherein a student or a group of four to six students are assigned to gather and/or read the same book or journals. )Some researchers stated that the ideal number of participants in each literature circles is composed of four to eight students. (rabham & Villaume, 2000; Brns, 1998) It possible for a literature circle to have either lesser or more participants depending on the learning situation.
Ech member of literature circles are given enough time to be able to share their personal ideas and react on the thoughts of his/her group members in a professional way. (rabham & Villaume, 2000) The students are also given the opportunity to be in-charge of their own learning experience particularly in leading a group discussion or even when it comes to deciding on the students’ preferred reading material for a given meeting.
