Ivy League Schools vs Second Tier Schools. The authors Lee and Nguyen (2007), focused on the issue that all students are not privileged enough for getting educations from Ivy League Schools. Every student of U.S. is not highly meritorious nor do they have sufficient money for pursuing higher studies from first-tier schools. The students who are unable to take admission in First-tier schools get into Second tire schools. In U.S, the schools which score lower ranks are considered as Second tier schools. The authors highlighted that this type of schools is mainly for mediocre students. These schools do not have any strong reputation. They mainly believe in educating students by following specific processes and activities (Lee and Nguyen 37). According to the view of the authors Swanson and Fisher (2011), Second Tier Schools are not highly popular in U.

S. Students want to pursue higher students from Ivy League Schools for getting better career prospects. This type of schools is the first preference of the students. Second Tier Schools do not have modern facilities which will help them in attracting students. Ivy League Schools are famous in all around the world. The students, who come from other nations for studying in U.S, try hard to get into Ivy League Schools. They believe that this type of school will immensely contribute in their overall development. Second Tier Schools are developing at a slow rate and for this reason, they are not been able to meet the expectations of the student from an academic institution. The authors stated that proper education helps a person in fulfilling his dreams. Therefore the students want to receive education from the best academic institutions for achieving their goals in the competitive market (Swanson and Dann 76).Research methodology is considered as a vital part of the research paper.
