Tere are evidential statistics to prove that indeed Americans have shifted to using internet to process their shopping. Te amount generated from online shopping as at 2012 in the US was about $231 Billion. Te figure is projected to rise to $370 in two years from now. I the US, pople of over 50 years form 67% of online shoppers. Oer 75% of the American today use the internet to purchase that they require.

Satistics further indicate that approximately 72% first inquire about an item they seek to buy on an online platform before they get to the physical stores to grab it. Eectronic items are some of the products that are highly traded on internet especially mobile phones and other telecommunication gadgets. Srangely, oer half of the internet users have reported to have researched on products they do not intend to purchase on the electronic space. I the recent past, oline shipping has seen high growth rate with so buyers resorting to this system and it has been predicted that the in the few years to come, amost everyone will be involved in online shopping (Crother 113).

Clture is a collective behavior that a group of individuals exhibit. Agroup that is culturally integrated share norms, vlues, taditions, bliefs as well as behavior patterns that are similar. Te same way, te American culture is dominated with internet and computer use. A shown in the statistics, oer three quarter of the Americans purchase goods online. Tis large group clearly indicates internet cultural assimilation or absorption that the American society has been plunged into.
