Strategy is thus a very important element as it ensures preparedness for the unique unexpected situations. An emergency plan is generally an action course formulated in an effort of preparing for, responding and mitigating the negative effects of potential disastrous events. A good emergency response plan will typically have measures to ensure safety for personnel, victims and where possible properties as well as facilities. There should also be provision for assessing severity and implementing appropriate stems of minimizing impact such as bringing in firefighters in an event of fire. Elements include determination of potential emergencies and the appropriate ways of responding, contact an impact analysis so as to know the risks posed and finally identifying & securing necessary resources.
