It is also critical to note that cultural exchanges between the nations are not a new phenomenon. Since Roman Empires, Muslim conquests as well as the 19th century European Colonizers, every dominating power at the global state attempted to impose or transport their cultures to new countries. Over the period of time, nations have exchanged values and cultural experiences however, the speed with which technology has helped dissemination of imperial culture at the global level.US dominance over the global culture has been on the rise since Fordist and Post-Fordist era. The culture which has been followed in large metropolitan cities of United States has disseminated across the whole group duly supported by other developed cities such as London and Milan. These cities continue to dominate the global culture and set the trends for what needs to be followed.( Dean, 2001).Developments in global communication as well as the easy transportation of western goods and ideas have also played an important role in determining how culture has actually seeped through the fabrics of various societies. The proliferation of the Western goods and more specifically that of the America is therefore not considered as an accident. The dominance of imperial cultural is considered more than just the rise and adaptation of American consumer goods.( Kazanjian, 2003).It is critical to note that dissemination of American culture has been mostly done through its movies, consumer products as well as the technology. Countries from China to France are adapting the cultural values of America and American culture is visible in the way daily life is being conducted in many global countries. The way MTV and Internet has been used to disseminate American cultural values and principles seems unprecedented in the history now. American Media has been successful in blending its contents in a manner which appeals to the local culture. Advertisements have been blended in a manner which simply ignores the local cultural values through celebrity endorsement.( Dworkin, 1996).To understand this phenomenon, it is also important to understand the trade related with the culture. Over the period of time, there has been an unprecedented increase in the import and export of cultural goods.
