Te modern process does not heed to some of the traditional practices and customs, trming them as outdated, bt has embraced religious, ehnic, ad regional diversity with increase in the use of modern dating methods during courtship. Sme of the modern dating methods include the use social media, sch as the programs and radio stations (Fafchamps and Quisumbing 361).

Mst young people explore the online dating sites to meet the purported desirable spouse, gt introduced to each other virtually, eter a relationship, popose for marriage, a eventually get down to marry (Clark, Pulin and Kohler 400). Uder this method, te parents might be literally cut from any form of involvement during the courtship.
