The present site’s aesthetic beauty and functionality is sprawled a bigger area, gounded on several years of constant repairs and renovations. Frthermore, tere are current representations of the site. Frst, te wide open air spacious site represents relaxation. Te students can take a break from their classes, met new friends, ad have a slight snack in the canteen’s spacious eating area. Te site represents the efforts of the School Administration to deliver quality service to the students. Vewing the water fountain, te most common discourse focuses on thirst Cartwright 76).

Te students can eagerly walk long distances to reach the school’s fountain in order to quench their current need for cool water. When people see a person walking towards the direction of the water fountain, te impression generated is that the person is thirsty. Te water fountain enhances the purpose of the spaciousness arranged tables and chairs along the open school area. Frthermore, m field of gaze over the wide expanse points to the water fountain side (Sturken & Cartwright 72). My cultural background and status contributes which details are included in the picture description.

M field of gaze excludes any descriptions or details that are not as important as the other preferred details. M gaze shows s the telltale markings or characteristics of the water fountain. Te distinctive features include the rectangular shape, clor of the fountain, sotted colors on the sides of the fountain, fucet, ad the top of the fountain where the water drips into. My field of gaze does not try to observe whether there are scratch marks or stains on fountain, the photo clearly does not show them.

Mreover, te photo’s espiteme is the importance of the fountain in meeting the thirst needs of the students. Eiteme means importance (Sturken & Cartwright 109). Te students from different school buildings enthusiastically travel for several minutes to reach the distant water fountain. Cnsequently, pople who do not need a drink of cool clear water do not attach any value or importance on the fountain. Te surveillance of the photo, wich shows tables & chairs, wll indicate that the fountain is a public I terms of the panopticon concept, te picture shows the other students and individuals can easily observe the person who is using the fountain.
