If a wedding in happening in a certain country, or state, it is necessary to know what kind of weather is usually resent at the time the wedding is planned to happen. If there is poor weather it can be necessary to either change the location or the time of the wedding. Still, even with an understanding of weather patterns and weather forecast for specific days, whether can still surprise people. It is necessary for the planners to have an alternative that can be used in case the weather surprises them.The person solemnizing the marriage such as the clergy or the peace judge have to know the time of the wedding or they may come late or may be never even show up. This risk can be mitigated by making sure that there is clear line of communication with such people.

They can also be reminded in a face to face way two or three days to the wedding.Like most events, the wedding also faces a number of security and safety risks (Tarlow, 2002). These can range from gangs or robbers coming to harass the people, to the issue of an accident happening. Accidents such as fire can come up, especially if cooking the meals needed at the wedding is done on location. To manage the risk of gangs or robbers, using processional security means such as guards can be feasible. To minimize the risk of fire, the use of proper cooking equipment and checking them before the day of wedding can be useful in mitigating this risk.If people who are important for the wedding, such as the people doing the wedding themselves, or heir family members are travelling from far, this introduces the risk of these people not being able to travel due to some issues related with long distance traveling such as airport security issues. This can be managed by having them arrive a day prior to the actual day of event.People with grudges such as former lovers to the wedding couple can come and disrupt the wedding. This risk can be handled by making sure that only invited guests can enter the venue using the invitation card that they received. Security guards can also be important in this case. The question of how many people how many are coming and the risk of too many people attending or too few people attending can also be managed by the use of having a strict list of invited guests.An outdoor concert can be similar to a wedding in that they share the same risk with regard to weather conditions.
