Applied ethics examines how moral outcomes can be found out within certain instances and situations. Moral psychology deals with how moral capacity or moral agency gets developed and what its nature is going to be, while descriptive ethics comprehends the moral values which people adhere to or abide by. There are a number of sub-fields of ethics philosophy study and one can understand them by taking a look at each of the branches in entirety (Foster 2003). The ethics philosophy premise can very easily be understood if a proper understanding of each one of these is taken into consideration. More than anything else, there is a dire need to relate these fields and sub-fields of the study of ethics philosophy with one another and how the moral good comes into the equation when one discusses the rationale related with the ethics philosophy. When one discerns the extent to which ethics philosophy has been useful in this day and age, its historical basis and the manner in which it has come about are also deemed as very important as these have comprised of the different eras, branches, traditions, philosophers, literature and lists.The ethics philosophy has a number of factors at the heart of bringing about a common good within humanity. The essence of doing all such actions and behaviors is to solicit a response which is based on optimism more than anything else. The ethics philosophy would be termed as a failure if people are unable to adapt to change – a change which is long-lasting and presents more goodness than one can expect. In fact, the ethics philosophy deals with managing the good and the evil that exist within any societal domains. There is a dire need to understand that the morally acceptable deeds are what will do the trick for the society and indeed the humanity in the long run. These measures are based on the long term scheme of things more than anything else, and hence the focus should remain as such. People do understand that all their actions and behaviors are accounted for and they are answerable to nature for what good or bad they carry out (Jager 2002). These are important elements that must be taken into due consideration and one shall expect quite a few results in this day and age, as far as the discourse on ethics philosophy is concerned.
