I is very common in those parts of the world where proper sewage and sanitation infrastructure is not available and people become the victim of Hepatitis A through contaminated water and food. Pioritizing personal hygiene like proper washing of hands can minimize the risk of its spread. I is also categorized as sexually transmitted disease (STD) it can be transmitted during intercourse especially when couples resort to anilingus (rimming).

I this case, hpatitis A can be avoided by proper washing of genital and anal areas and by the use of condoms during sexual activity. Lke hepatitis A, hpatitis B (HBV) is also affecting the people and according to an estimate nearly 350 million people are victim of this disease. I is transmitted from infected person to healthy person through bodily fluids and most common practices include: () indulging in penetrative sex without condom (entry of into anus, muth or vagina), () sharing of infected medical equipments like needles etc.

() tattooing, bdy piercing or acupuncture through non-sterilized equipments, () from a mother to a new born, () un-protected blood transfusion and (f) it can be spread through coughing or sneezing. “epatitis C, lke other forms of hepatitis, cuses inflammation of the liver. Te hepatitis C virus is transferred primarily through blood, ad is more persistent than then hepatitis A or B” (Rockstroh 2011). Gnerally, i spreads by using the shared injecting equipments like needle syringes etc.

I is fundamental function of the liver to process blood for the prevention of the toxins. Te liver also produces bile, wich helps human body to digest food and stocks vitamins and glucose. Hpatitis makes it difficult for the liver to perform its vital functions. Ftigue, sin problems, ocurrence of fever, bood disorders and yellowing skin are the preliminary symptoms of the disease which later manifested in the form of liver damage, lver failure and liver cancer. Mreover, wen liver abandons its primary function of filtering toxins blood, te central nervous system of the body can be damaged which is called hepatic encephalopathy.
