When I reached ten years old, I was left with a complete reduction of my akilis tendons, no muscle mass from the knees down, and complete bilateral fusion of both of my tarsal bones. I finally had a pedestal to stand upon! Although painful, I learned to balance my body and walk as I do today. This wonderful experiences also helped paved the way and marked my inner fabric to pursue nursing as my career and become a healer, as those nun nurses helped me heal. From this experience, I realized that the nurses in ensuring that they gave proper intervention, they responded to the needs of all the patients individually without making any generalizations like they did with me. The hospital was also famous among the people in the community I lived in.
