The design of the database will entail generation of tables using SQL, etity relationship diagrams using SQL Workbench and the designs of forms and reports using Ms. Te database architecture must also be defined which either can be centralized, prallel or distributed. I centralized architectures, oe server machine executes operations on the database and includes standalone and simple networked client server systems. I parallel architectures, adatabase may be hosted on multiple processors to improve querying and response times and in distributed databases, tey span multiple geographically separated machines to backup, iprove performance, dta redundancy for local users.

I the database creation there are many alternatives to achieving that. Oe can chose to use the SQL command prompt, Mcrosoft access, MSQL workbench or php models such as Xampp. I this instance, SL is used. Te first step was creating a database called pizza using the SQL commands and then creating tables and inserting the values to them and defining their data types. Fr the suitable for vegetarian column, 1stands for a yes and 0 stands for no. Atached are DDL (Data Definition Language) and DML (Data Manipulation Language) scripts used to enter the values to the command prompt.

Ten proceeding to MySQL workbench to generate entity relationship diagrams. Aso attached are the print screen images of the execution of the SQL command prompt when entering values. Tis is done by use of the reverse engineer command then selecting the database name saved in SQL and ensuring that all the objects have been selected. I making the entity relationships, cick on model then proceed to create diagram from objects.

I shows an EER diagram where all the tables entered are shown. Nxt is to define the relationships between the tables. Rlationships can be one to one, oe to many or many to many. ‘any to many’ relationship is rarely used in this context. Gnerate English statements to enable you determine relationships between the tables for example a customer can have or place many orders but no two similar order numbers can exist. Fr the first instance a one to many relationship is used and for the second, to one relationship is used.

Oe has to define the schema which is the logical structure of the database and...
