A passing familiarity for the English language throughout their studies and prepare for higher education in English-language institutions as well as other professional jobs in English-speaking nations. Ech class in the institution has between 35 and 45 students who are being trained in various specialised programmes in their fields of study. Eglish is taught as a foreign language but it must be adapted to the Arabic environment to enable the students to understand the concepts and ideas relating to the language and culture of the English people (Davis 2013, p Most linguistic authorities argue that teaching an international language involves building on familiar cultures and leading it into other unknown cultural territories (Braine, 2014).

Hnce, tere is a strong involvement of unifying figures and ideas that are meant to bring together the Islamic thought of the Arabic-speaking Muslim students of the institution and the circumstances of the English-speaking world and its socio-cultural trends in order to ensure proper teaching and understanding of the English language. Te primary motivation of the English teaching system of the university involves that most of the English language programmes, prticularly those taught in the first year is mandatory and a student must pass.

Mst of the students are between the ages of 19 and 23. Te teaching requires strong relationships between teachers and students in order to attain proper results. I most of the courses, prticularly traditionally male-dominated courses, tere are more male students than females. Hwever, i other campuses of King Saud University, tere are female dominated classes and this includes students who take part in courses that are common females.

Te amount of time allocated to these English language courses is mainly similar to various minor courses. I most first year programmes, sudents do between 18 and 32 Credit Hours. Ad out of this, mst courses allot 2 to 4 Credit Hours to English Language programmes and activities. Tis runs over a semester of 12 to 16 weeks depending on the magnitude of each course and the rules of each King Saud department or campus of study. Te basic end of each of the first-year English is to young students in their pre-university level with important skills and competencies to understand and view English as an important and significant aspect of their studies and also gain some kind of integration. ..
