On Sunday, April 26, 2015 there was a concert at the “American Symphony Orchestral “ where Leon Botstein discusses and conducts Janáček’s Sinfonietta. The concert signified a sad period in the classical music of New York as the Orchestral presented its classics declassified schedule in collaboration with the Sinfonietta of the Leoš Janáček. The concert was the last one among the many respected concerts as the ASO informed the public that due to financial constraints, it would not be able to hold concerts extensively as usual. The crowd reacted in disappointment, as the concerts were entertaining and most importantly educative.Before the commencement of the performance, Leon delivered an educative speech to the audience explaining of the forces of the music. He explained that music was important in daily activities in life as it helps in relaxing and expressing feelings on the external circumstances. In addition, he did not forget to mention on the importance of learning about the different components of music together with the instruments in use for those who were specializing in the art of music. In order to express his love for music, Leon discussed on the similarities that the early music share with the current classical music art. After the discussion, he brought about various instruments in the music art that he gently described their use and their importance in the music performance.However, Leon did give a brief introduction on himself. He is a music director and the president at the Bard College. He was born in Zürich, Switzerland and a naturalized American conductor as well as the principal conductor at the American Symphony Orchestra. The concert was part of a program aiming at educating individuals of the music as an art and the historical background of the music as wellAt this period, the crowd was shouting and yearning for the long waited performance as the talk had lasted for an hour. There were different instruments that were used in the concert including the Wagner tubas, bass trumpet. However, there was a performance with the 12trumpets and six trombones. The Wagner tuba had a specific function in the performance in that it combined the tonal elements of the French horn in the concert and the trombone. The combinations of the two instruments were epic in that they produced a marvelous sound and breathe taking. The crowd went
