This council pitted two arguments against each other. Te first argument is that Jesus Christ had two different natures. Te first nature is that he was man, a the same time he was God. Te other argument denoted that Jesus Christ only had a human body, bt His soul was divine4. O this basis, Jsus Christ is purely God, ad not man God. However, acompromise was reached, wth the resolution that Jesus was one Person, wth two natures. Frthermore, te Creed goes on to denote that whoever says that there was a time when Jesus Christ did not exist, ae misguided, ad these people, te Church does not tolerate them. Tis is because they oppose God, ad the scriptures of. Tis further goes on to denote that the church will not recognize anyone who holds the view that Jesus Christ, Gd’s Son is mutable, ad can change.
