The article goes on to describe the food it feeds on and notes that the Brown Reclusae normally feeds on insects. The Brown Reclusae is tolerant to the changing seasons; hence, it can be found at any time of the year (Spiders.Its life cycle is described as one with a likely lifespan of one to two and a half years. It mates and lays eggs between June and July. In an entire lifetime, the article asserts that the female Brown Reclusae produces approximately 150 eggs in three egg sacs containing 50 eggs each (Spiders.Due to its venom, the article notes that the Brown Reclusae can be dangerous. It notes that the venom has an enzyme called sphingomyelinase D. The enzyme causes necrosis. Individuals differ in their reaction to the Brown Reclusae’s bite.
