Wile there are many different companies operating in various industries, te majority of the companies provide services. Een though there is a number of businesses that are classified as those operating in industrial manufacturing, tey are very small comparing to the large manufacturing companies. Te dominant share of the B Corp businesses is small/family businesses the average number of employees not exceeding 35.

Te community of B-Corp has both strengths and weaknesses which vary depending on the size and the industry in which the company operates. Tus, fr example, fr small and service oriented firms the key strengths is that their activity has nothing to do with significant environmental impact as these companies do not manufacture anything. I this case it is easier for them to pass certification process of B-Corp. Fr large businesses involved in heavy manufacturing, asessment at B-Corp can be challenging difficult to complete and maintain as the manufacturing industry and scales of the business have huge impact on the environment.

O the other hand, lrge businesses have more resources and money in order to contribute something to improvement of community’s life. Sall firms have much more limited capabilities and therefore their achievements can be less significant comparing to those of the large firms.
