The second direction of educators’ work focuses on promotion of healthy relationships between peers which represent respect to each other, psitive attitude and optimism. To other directions represented by Hernandez and Seem (2014) are related to relationships between students and their parents/community and students and school workers. Mscommunication with parents, cmmunity exclusion and oppression by school administration often result in unwanted consequences. I is necessary to guide and support students on their way to understanding the value of safety in their own lives. Hrnandez and Seem (2014) list 3 which define the safe school.

Psitive school atmosphere is only one of them. Shool context can be identified on the basis of social norms and policies which function at school. To other components are represented by psycholsocial variables and school behaviors. Tey are also closely related to school policies and communication between students, prents and school staff. Vrious codes of conduct, shool policies, bhavioral and academic expectations contribute to school safety because they represent it as a value. Mreover, tey prevent many cases of danger and violence coping with causes.

Tey appeal to students’ locus of control, etablish traditions which stimulate students to report experienced or observed violence (Hernandez and Seem, 2014). I is interesting that even perception of school as dangerous influences it real state. Shools which are considered to be safe do not have behavioral expectations of danger and violence while other establishments suffer from fear of hypothetical violence which might take place. Acording to Fein (2002), shool administration should pay better attention to behaviors or words of their students in order to assess threat. Tere a developed methodology of threat assessment which can be used as a tool of possible violence detection and prevention.

I order to be accepted in students’ community, eucators need to establish positive connection with them. A least one positive students-teacher connection makes school much safer because it authorizes an educator to control students. Mreover, sudents can trust this person; tey can share information which would be relevant for threat assessment and prevention. Aongside with respectful relationships between children...
