In the first few series, the comic book creators focus on developing the personality of the superhero. The strength of the superhero is shown and the readers cannot help but admire the strength of the super hero. Initially, the enemies of the superhero are shown to be weaker than the superhero. For instance, in Batman Year One, Batman is easily able to tackle his enemies in the form of Flass and Falcone. The enemies are basically mere humans who cannot hope to match the strength of Batman.However, as the comic book series progresses, the enemies become stronger. Even though the character of Batman also gains more strength but the enemies it seems suddenly grow much stronger than Batman. This then makes it more difficult for Batman to fight his enemies. Since Batman Venom appeared much later than Batman Year One, it should be expected that the enemies are much stronger in Batman Venom as compared with Batman Year One.In Batman Venom, comic book artists made the character of Batman weaker. This helped create the same situation where the enemies become stronger. The weaker side of Batman was created as a result of a reaction towards the drug, Venom. In Batman Year One, one cannot help but admire the strength of Batman however, in Batman Venom, one prays for Batman to give him strength.In Batman Year One, Batman does not have any major problems in his fight against his enemies. In Year One, the story of Batman is being introduced. Therefore the comic book creators wanted to make the superhero appear strong in order to make him inspiring for the readers. If Batman had not been shown as a strong character, he may not have inspired the readers which would have affected the popularity of Batman.On the other hand, in Batman Venom, the character was already popular. Readers were aware of the strength and competence of Batman. Most readers had gained an affinity with Batman. Thus, in his story, the vulnerability of Batman was explored. Batman was no longer the superhero who would fight against his enemies easily. Rather Batman had to fight with himself before fighting his enemies. For instance, in Issue 16 of the Batman Venom series, we see Batman may scenes where Batman is alone. There is tension and aggression in Batman’s body. He was unable to save the life of a teenage girl despite the fact that he is Batman. In the opening of the series, the vulnerability of Batman is exposed. This then sets the scene for the
