Poduct and service design are few of the most important areas in operational activities of a company. Dsigning a product is the process of generating new ideas to create a new product and it depends upon the needs and the demands of the customers. Poduct design involves certain steps, as, dsign brief, secification of the design, dsigning the concept, tsting, dsigning the detail, frther testing, mnufacturing and sales.

Ech and every organisation generally follows these steps. Smilar to product design, srvice design is also an important factor in organisational operations. Srvice design is the process of innovation of a new product or improving the existing product for making them more usable for the customers. Te major goal of the service oriented companies is to design their service properly before delivering it to the customers, ad it is also to provide after sale service to the consumers (Moritz, 2005).

Kaft Foods also ensures a good product and service design for their consumers. Te company has focused on the consumer demands, tey have followed the requirements of their customers and they have designed their products based on the consumer desire. Te company strives to make the food products to be sugar free, clorie free, sdium free and fat free. Te foods should contain more healthy ingredients, lke fibre, wole grains, ad micronutrients. Te food should be healthy and beneficial the consumers. Al these factors have been taken under consideration while manufacturing in Kraft Foods.

Te service provided by Kraft Foods is also efficient. Te service designed by the Kraft Foods is quite noteworthy. Te company has focused on the recycling of the waste to serve the society and the customers in a better way. A Kraft Foods uses grains, ccoa, ad coffee in their products, tey also help in the agricultural sector to maintain the balance of the raw material as well the environment. Tey have chosen the friendly vehicles as their transportation mode.
