Consequently, psychology is the study of individual’s mental, social, moral and physical stability. It applies social cognitive elements in ensuring absolute understanding of individuals operating status. Psychologists affirm that individual’s attitude, behavior, perception, team spirit and semantic capacities are achievable through effective cognitive processes. The processes have the capacity to enable deeper understanding between social recognition and brain functionality that controls decision-making (Roder & Medalia 2010). This controls how people interact, learn and explore conventional ideas or opportunities. This in turn explains the significance of the study in ensuring transformation of individual’s attitude that defines their inner feelings that are portrayed extrinsically.

It also defines individual’s perception on diverse issues that inform decision-making (Berger 2002). The term cognition refers to the human faculty that processes information through application of pertinent knowledge based capacity. The process adopts schematic ideologies that describe the categorization of ideas and concepts in human brain. It facilitates the understanding of how individuals conceptualize various information that they receive. It also defines the processes that individuals undertake in understanding of various views in attaining social integration (Baumeister & Bushman 2011). In the theoretical studies, it is recognizable that special cognition forms part of social schema that describes the categorization and representation of ideas or various in the mental setting of individuals.

The studies show that brains may interpret or process information differently due to various complications that require proper evaluation (Stehr 2005). The complications hold the capacity of compromising the quality of information or eyewitness accounts and understanding that may be detrimental to social integration. The complications that include development disorders, for example, autism, poor memory and inferior perceptions should receive adequate mitigation to facilitate quality understanding (Baumeister & Bushman 2011). This eradicates unwarranted eyewitness testimonies that hold the capacity of impeding human development socially.
