The components of the mental stimulation model are indeed effective for low frequency/high impact problems. It is because mental models of how things will eventually work are crucial by observing clues. Experienced people do know how things may turn out due to the experiences they have gained so far. Triggering of action scripts can lead to gaining clues of how events will turn out. Poor decisions may not be necessarily made based on the commonality of the issue. However, in an event of a new problem at hand, an experienced person shall have predetermined actions scripts, patterns, cues, and situations by doing relations to other relevant situation.

The decision points hence will be generic enough to make one a complete decision maker when faced with a challenging situation. The model would help one to be able to determine an issue at window stage before it escalates to a major problem. Consequently, an alternative solution can be generated early enough when a plan runs into barriers. Foreseeing the solution to the problem is a first step toward mitigating emergency situations. #Q2: Decision TrainingThe tools outlined in the Garry Klein as the decision-making techniques are very useful and they would definitely work.

To me, both commodities were useful in one way or the other, however, the decision had to be made regarding the amount of money I had at that time. I did not have much money at my disposal then. I had to define my problems, evaluate options available, and avoid decision making pitfalls.

I had to make a choice that would benefit me much, and therefore I went for a laptop since it would help me with my education and entertainment as well. Skateboard would only encourage my sporting activities, but it did not have a variety of help as opposed to a laptop.
