Many disabilities that cause by mobility impairments are visual because they are using special equipment such as wheelchair or walking frame and the other type of them are invisible because they do not use any of equipment like arthritis people that need special treatments. The social model of disability begins from different views. It does not pay attention to how “ bad” a person with an impairment is. It does not pay attention to how “ bad” a person with an impairment is. Instead, it  creates that everyone is the same and shows that it is a society which raises difficulty that anticipates disabled people  sharing and restricts their opportunities.

The (Figure 3) is the performance of the social model of disability in the UK. The social model of disability helps disabled people to look after themselves in the best way to increase the quality of their lives. Disabled people sometimes feel they are a load of their family or other people and have a confused feeling of what they are doing and also they think nobody can help them even the doctors. 1- The proportion of the disabled people in the UK has increased progressively.

This has led to new emerging section of people who need special care and attention, as a result of some form of impairment related to aging, disease, and other factors contributing to some form of disability. 2 The Disability Discrimination Act: According to the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 1995 – disability has been defined as a physical and mental impairment which has long-term effect on the ability to execute everyday activities. These impairments are identified as hearing, visual, coordination related, mobility-related, mental and learning difficulties like (dyslexia), physiological conditions like diabetes, epilepsy, arthritis, asthma etc.

The DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) states that there should be no discrimination against disabled people by service providers.
