Initially an argument broke out between the two and bitter words were exchanged. Both the cyclist and the pedestrian believed that the mistake was not theirs. The pedestrian thought that the cyclist was on the wrong while the cyclist thought that it was the fault of the pedestrian. Other bystanders were forced to intervene and calm the fuming pair. Another bystander indicated that both the cyclist and the pedestrian were on the wrong. The police were not called in as the problem was solved by the bystanders.
