Essentially, the article is relevant in ascertaining vitality of evidence-based practice in managing health care sectors that similarly incorporates business concepts and need.

The health-care field has been applying evidence-based information in the management and practicing of the professional healthcare delivery. However, this management practice is now being adapted in the field of business management. Thus, there is also the need to introduce evidence-based management curriculum in the health-care curriculum. Though evidence-based management has been crucial in the heath-care practice, it has cause-varied views amongst the stakeholders. The relevance of this article in the field of evidence-based is that it has proposed the concept as crucial for introduction into the health-care curriculum.

The importance of this article to the field of evidence-based management is that it has provided sufficient evidence that the nutritional intervention did not improve the quality of life of the patients receiving radiation and chemotherapy, as opposed to the previously held notion.
