This can be achieved by the researcher making pre-visits to the site before the initial data collection.   The simplest field notes are taken on a writing pad where the researcher doddle whatever fells to be essential.

A stenograph book can be used when a more complicated kind of field notes is to be done, this is usually common among journalists. Field notes make sense to anyone besides the researcher. They are part of his memory system.   According to Kreuger (2000), a good way to make them last longer is to interpret the notes into comprehensible phrases within a short time. Data management in qualitative research refers to a way to stock the data, to categorize it, to make sense out of the collection and to communicate the findings to readers or the interested parties.

Some of the data management methods that I will employ in my proposed research include field notes, tape recorders, the human brain, and video recording. To organize and keep track of the messy records that go into making quantitative research, one needs to look into the raw data from interviews, questioners, focus groups or field observation. NVivo is one of the latest qualitative data analysis software that is increasingly being used by the researcher to provide deep analysis of data (Symon and Cassell, 2000).

Generally, the software is designed to assist in managing unrelated sources of data and apparently uncoordinated ideas.   NVivo can effectively be used to assist with data management and organization by helping researchers to organize unstructured and nonnumerical data. Lastly, the software can also be effectively used to help a qualitative researcher in making observations and testing theories during the research process.
