Research and evidence help to achieve health-related development goals and continuously improve health outcomes (WHO, 2010).     This claim was further seconded and backed up by thousands of authors such as Sadana et al. (2004) stating that research is essential to guide improvements in health systems and develop new initiatives.   This definition of research as an important part if the health care system describes the very core why people engage into research that is to develop new, tested and most importantly proven ways of giving health care to clients. Thus the universal validity of researches must be tested and criticized to testify and prove even further the outcome before putting it into practice stating the importance of criticizing health research such as this to confirm its acceptability and eventually adopting it as a standard of care.

Researches can provide important information about disease trends and risk factors, outcomes of treatment or public health interventions, functional abilities, patterns of care, and health care costs and use.   Different approaches to research provide complementary insights.   Clinical trials can provide important information about the efficacy and adverse effects of medical interventions by controlling the variables that could impact the results of the study, but feedback from real-world clinical experiences, such as criticizing the validity of researches and clinical trials, is crucial for comparing and improving the use of drugs, vaccines, medical devices, and diagnostics.     It is also vital to record and assess experience in clinical practice in order to develop guidelines for best practices and to ensure high-quality patient care.   Collectively, these forms of health research have led to significant discoveries, the development of new therapies, and a remarkable improvement in health care and public health (Institute of Medicine, 2009) The need for criticizing health research by able and competent health care practitioners is evident because one way of ensuring competence is through evidence-based practice and health professionals are expected to be intelligent consumers of research.
