The group of gamers who came up with this remarkable idea is no less than pulling off a rabbit from the hat. They have given a new dimension to the gamers abilities, the potential they possess and the possible contributions they can make. A balance should be struck between their activities. Many researchers have shown improved I. Q skills and cognitive abilities of children who are more familiarized with gaming. I recently read an article where scientists used an online game called Foldit to to decipher the molecular structure of an enzyme. These gamers were given nothing other then a pat on the back to the scientists for thinking up this scheme to misuse gamers.

The author of the article also seemed to mock our preferred pastime in the final paragraphs. I am apalled that a game was used to pull us in to help scientists solve a complex problem with no recognition or compensation, only abuse. All that I am asking for is to be noticed individually for our help in this scientific discovery as it would be benificial on a resume.

In the meantime, while I wait for that recognition that will never come, I implore you to stop halping these schemers and start demanding wages! The achievement is highly applaud able, many positives can be extracted from it, but one must not get carried away by it. It indeed is a proud moment for the gaming folks but should be rejoiced in a humble and educated manner. Surely the achievers deserve reward but that the labor of scientists cannot be undermined as they toil hard their entire life.
